For the edition Hypersea Invasion Catherina Cramer has made Jou-Jous. The small hand painted pendants made of polymethyl methacrylate show the main character of the first chapter of the series Unleash the Beast: the water ape. The pendants are to be understood as materialized memories of people, places and symbols that appear in the respective chapter of the series.

Catherina Cramer (*1988, NRW, Germany) lives and works in Düsseldorf and Berlin. She studied Fine Arts at the Kunstakademie Münster and Düsseldorf and received her Meisterschülerin letter in 2019 from Dominique Gonzalez Foerster. Cramer participates in international exhibitions such as the V-Art Center (Shanghai, China) and the Stroboskop Artspace (New York, USA).
