Giulietta Ockenfuß portrays the protagonists of Unleash the Beast in her edition for L187. Some are already known from the first two chapters, others the audience will get to know in the further course of the series. They are all personified by masks, some made by Mexican artists, others by Ockenfuß and Cramer, which each served as a model for the portraits.

Giulietta Ockenfuß (*1986, Frankfurt am Main, Germany) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. She studied Fine Arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the classes of Prof. Tal R and Prof. Rita McBride and graduated as Meisterschülerin in 2010. Ockenfuß is a painter but her work also includes collaborative projects and performances. Since 2013 she has been part of the rap crew Die Römischen Votzen and since 2019 she has been working on film projects together with Catherina Cramer. Giulietta Ockenfuß participated in exhibitions including: Creating a "we", Basis Showroom, (Frankfurt, DE); Losing my virginity, Galerie Robert Grunenberg, (Berlin, DE); Bad News, (Wiesbaden Biennale, DE); Good to talk, Berghain Kantine, (Berlin, DE). She has also received several scholarships including the Arbeitsstipendium Hessische Kulturstiftung (2020), the Reisestipendium Hessischen Kulturstiftung (2019), the Arbeitsstipendium „Junge Szene“ Kulturstiftung NRW mit Catherinia Cramer (2019), and the Nam June Paik Förderpreis NRW (2012).
